Right now, he's basically feeling up fake Karn, giving him a great "sense" of how much power he has stored. But Fake Karn didn't cause the blood.

They did do something but it's doubtful Mayt will guess what.

Only other thing they did was turn the already dead body into ash and scattered it.

Either way though, Wizard X just finds it all amusing. Especially when Mayt doesn't know who they are really
