Reiko, deciding it better not to be picked last as she was certain would be the case, instead decided to simply join Kotone - that was what Himeji-sensei said, right? - and her team on the other side of the net. Standing with her team, she remained silent, giving her teammates a nod of knowing. She looked across the net to the opposing team. They were certainly lively, or maybe it was just loud - one of the pink hairs seemed to have a following. Right, that was the other student in the running for assistant class reprentative, so she was popular. Or popular enough, anyway, to warrant a following. Comparatively, Kotone's team was quieter, and looked less interested in playing than Reiko thought possible. "Hey....Kotone-san," Reiko addressed the team captain, turning her head to look at the girl, "Let me serve." Reiko had little experience with serving, or with most sports in general, but right now she had anger towards Himeji-sensei. and pretending the white ball was her gym teacher's head was bound to work. "And...let's win. I want to win." Normally, Reiko would be as indifferent about this game as anyone else, but she had something to prove now. Or, more technically, she had someone to impress, and the small blush on her cheeks revealed her true intentions for the sudden burst of competitive spirit.
