[i]This guy doesn't get out much does he?[/i] Sigurd thought to himself in response to Nero's rather awkward social behavior. He accepted the awkward boy's handshake and returned a smile though with much more confident and energetic than the one he received. "Yup, today is the first day of officially being a trainer. Sigurd is the name, nice to meet ya." His eyes trailed off to the small brown fur ball on Nero's shoulder, an Eevee. "I'd show you my pokemon, but they're getting treated right now. Lost my first battle by a landslide against a more experienced trainer though it certainly was a learning experience." It's hard to believe that he wasn't feeling any bit depressed about losing his first battle. In the end experience was the deciding factor of the battle. 

"Oh, and this is Amelia. She's a bit shy so duo please be careful." He motioned towards the little girl sitting across from him.
