I'll state this flat out so there's no confusion or anything: If ANYONE wants to PM me to collab a conversation with August, either now or later, you don't even need to ask, I am MORE than happy to do so and encourage this idea wholeheartedly.

Having periodic moments where we aren't in a potentially dangerous area, or even having teams split up for specific tasks, seems like it'd be fun. They don't even need to be going after spirits, maybe Team A goes to research more about specific things, and half the time instead of introspective comments about fruitless searching through books before finally finding the proper one, they could be chatting and getting to know each other and learning about each other, developing a relationship, be it good, bad, awkward, sexually tense, calm and laid back, etc. While Team B goes to gather clues from another place and do the same thing. And these teams rotate often enough that everyone interacts with each other, not just the same few folks.

It would also help to keep anarchy from prevailing, I think it can sometimes be intimidating when two other characters start hitting it off via posts and you don't wanna feel like you're interrupting or jumping in uninvited.
