Rowan was already on the case of getting a Blanket, He reached into his saddlebag and grabbed a Blanket then raced over Aery taking her into his arm while wrapping her up tightly, the look on her face brought tears streaming down his face, he then fell to his knees and screamed "NOOOOOO!!!" he had left her alone and that just wasn't acceptable in his mind, he let his fingers run down her face and then rested his hand on her cheek.
