Discussion Announcement

In light of recent issues in regards to measuring and properly defining power levels between characters, Synthorian, myself, and several others propose that a tier system be established in Essence so as to standardize the measurement of power. It would likely work in such a way that given categories (yet to be defined) would be figured for the character's skills and various traits, then averaged out and/or added up so as to gauge their overall/general power rating. This should be discussed as to whether or not this system should be necessary for everyone, or just for those who choose to opt in.
Attributes: The character's most basic capabilities. (Strength, speed, dexterity, intelligence etc...) Enhancements: Anything either mechanical, magicall enchanted or possesions that grant the character a unique ability (Dracul, Lots of money, a fast car, cybernetic implants, etc). Magic: The character's broader capacity to manipulate essence to produce specific effects (Alchemy, weaving, necromancy, etc). Skill: A character's ability to do a particular thing and how well they do it (non magical). Misc: Anything that doesnt fit any of the afformentioned categories which has a bearing on the characters capacities.
