~ ARTEMIS ~ Artemis' recollection of her two former schoolmates were as colorful as Noelle's rainbow-dyed hair that she remembered from their final year at Hogwarts. The dark and brooding Ravenclaw bookworm was her greatest rival - not just in terms of academics, but she actually looked up to Noelle in secret. Noelle seemed perfect in almost everything: grades, Quidditch, appearance and her mannerism. She had all that Artemis strived for, but there was one aspect that made the Gryffindor reluctant towards Noelle: she was into the use of Dark Magic, something that Artemis detested. On the other hand, she wasn't fond of Aiden at first. She always felt a tinge of suspicion when he was being overly friendly towards her - she felt wary whenever he was around, sometimes even wondered if he was a stalker (she had an uneasy feeling that he was by her side all the time). It took her quite some time to finally acknowledge that he was a genuinely nice person. A small sense of guilt rose in her chest, from the occasions she remembered her throwing tempers at him. As for the Slytherin hypocrite Miyu... To her, he was literally her living nightmare: not once was she spared from the misery of being his constant prank target, which was worse when Peeves became his greatest worshipper. He might be an innocent-looking guy with a cute face that didn't seem to have aged at all, but after seven years she couldn't miss the cunning sparkle in his seductive dark eyes. If she had to compare him with Aiden... Well, Aiden didn't seem to be quite truthful with himself and would sometimes respond in ways to just to please people, but Miyu was a complete mystery to her - she could never tell when he was actually serious or simply a cheery sadist through and through. She noticed that Noelle stiffened at the sight of Miyu - she wouldn't be surprised that he probably also had tricked her too many times to count. She felt a pang of sympathy towards the Ravenclaw girl. "It's been so long, Artemis. How're you doing?" "I'm good," she replied coolly. She raised an eyebrow at the remnants of multicolors still left among the mass of gold in Noelle's hair. "Still can't get those off?" She shot Miyu a stern glare and then ignored him just like the Ravenclaw did, turning her attention to Aiden instead. "Are you still afraid of heights?" Aiden's casual but unexpected question towards her made Artemis choked on her butterbeer. "I-It's none of your business!"
~ MIYU ~ Miyu helped himself to another round of free butterbeer - well, since it was ordered and would be paid by the blue-robed wizard anyway - while he plastered on his trademark grin on his face to welcome the Healer and the blond witch. If it wasn't for Artemis, he could barely recall their names (he could only remember faces - remembering names was too much trouble for him). He didn't react when Noelle slammed her heavy volumes on the table forcefully, missing his arm by inches; however, he had to swallow down the urge to burst out laughing at the title on the book cover. Any normal person who saw it would question Noelle's sanity, and Aiden's expression when he bumped into her had already proven that. Spotting the few strands of rainbow-colored ones in the Ravenclaw girl's hair, Miyu couldn't help but feel smug about it: he had nicked a few phials of Rainbow Potion that Artemis was experimenting on and jinxed them with a weak Permanent-Sticking Charm. He then dropped a hint to Peeves and the poltergeist actually did the setup - it just so happened that Noelle was the one who walked right into the trap. He secretly liked Noelle with multicolored highlights among her gold, and he didn't feel sorry at all when Peeves dropped the balloons filled with the paint-like potion on her while cackling "wee Rainbowclaw" down the corridor. Artemis was pretty much the complete opposite of Noelle: while the Ravenclaw was rather stoical and would usually just issue him an icy death threat, the Gryffindor would waste no time to give him a piece of her mind and chase him to the ends of the school corridors for a burning payback. It only added more entertainment to Miyu's remaining school life when Artemis became a Prefect in their fifth year - she was so fired up to catch him in his joke acts red-handed to make sure he would get the punishment he so deserved, but he was too sly for that and would send her running around in circles with his shikigami dolls. Unlike the love-hate relationship he had with the two girls (he was well aware that he himself was the main cause of all the drama but he just couldn't resist getting amusing reactions from them), he was on rather friendly terms with the Hufflepuff, Aiden. Miyu found him a bit of a bore sometimes but pretty easy to get along with. They didn't share a lot of classes together, but on the Quidditch field the half-British half-Korean was a formidable opponent - he was the only Beater who was close to throwing Miyu off his broom, and Miyu did pride himself as the fastest flier of their time. The horrible incident that happened in the Hufflepuff vs Ravenclaw match in their sixth year nearly killed Aiden and Quidditch was suspended for the rest of that year, but luckily he managed to recover fully. However, that did not deter the students from joining the tryouts to be on the house team - in fact, for the Slytherin tryout, the crowd was probably the worst that Miyu had ever encountered. He even had to resort to setting off the flash-bang fireworks that he modified from one of the joke stuffs he got from Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes to disperse the mob of angry students who weren't picked for the team, but not without throwing in some fire-breathing dragon puppets to singe their hair for a bit of personal entertainment. "You haven't changed much, Kisaragi. How's life without Peeves to do your dirty work?" "Boring, of course. I kinda miss that dude," Miyu laughed in response. "But I don't want to go back to face Moaning Myrtle again. I swear she has hots for me." He let out an exaggerated sigh at the thought of dating a ghost girl. When Aiden asked Artemis about her acrophobia, he raised his eyebrows at her flustered reaction. He could vaguely remember the time the Slytherins had flying lessons with the Gryffindors and Artemis refused to get anywhere near the brooms, jabbing her wand at anyone who tried to taunt her about it. Two girls from his house grabbed her both sides and lifted her off the ground when the teacher wasn't looking; Miyu was the only nearest one to save her from getting broken limbs later. That was probably the first interaction he ever had with Artemis.
