Peter's shoulders stung, he was shivering, his clothes were wet, and he smelled. If he found anywhere warm and dry he would probably fall asleep and never wake up. Peter gave a smile behind his mask, and his eyebrows raised as she gestured her to follow. He looked over at Kraven and gave a laugh. "See you around, Kraven the Hunter." Peter said, saying his name with a bad thick russian accent, and with that, he was off. Spider-Man watched the SWAT trucks and helicopters go right past them, knowing they'll have a handful if that guy ever wakes up. Hopefully they'll have a place strong enough to keep that guy behind bars for a long time... The wind was chilling him to the bone as they swung as fast as they could to Lexi's place. It was a rough day. Seeing his best friend so weak, trying to find christmas gifts for everyone, fighting Kraven... He needed to just not do anything for the rest of the night! Peter immediately started to rip out of his suit, starting with his mask and trying his best to peel off the very cold and wet outfit off his upper body, letting the top part of his suit hand down. He decided to keep the lower half of his suit still on his body for now. He looked up to see Lexi letting her hair down, and his knees went weak. He was glad he got the worst of the battle. He was expecting the lecture he was getting, but she hid her annoyance with him with playfulness, which he appreciated a lot more. "Yes, mom..." Peter said teasingly, his hands going to her waist as she wrapped her arms around his neck. He was leaning forward for a kiss, expecting her to say something cute, but was giving a fake hurt expression as she said that. That expression soon melted away when she placed a kiss on his lips. He was cold, but his whole face felt hotter than the sun at that moment. "Shower, fire, hot cocoa. Sounds great." Peter nodded. Since he was here much more often, and no longer hiding his secret identity, Peter has grown accustomed to keep a backpack in Lexi's room for an extra pair of clothes. Peter made his way for the backpack, and walked towards the door. He stopped and turned around giving a small shrug. "You know, i think the shower's big enough for two if you need to warm up." He gave another shrug as if to say "no big deal", and a smile as he walked towards the bathroom. --- Peter started the shower, letting the water warm up as he peeled off the rest of his suit. He placed his backpack on the counter, and after a little bit of struggling, he finally threw the cold suit to the side. As he attended to this, though, a small drop of black liquid fell from the shower head. It didn't go through the drain. Instead it slowly crawled out of the shower, making its way away from the loud noise of the water. It crawled across the bathroom floor until it made contact with the wet Spider-Man suit. In desperation the black fluid crawled inside the suit, making it its new home. Peter didn't see this happening, as he was already climbing in to the shower to warm up his nearly frozen body. He was glad that this night turned out well, with he and his girlfriend spending the night together after kicking some serious butt!
