Ceres rolled her eyes at how Cuttlam was treating his sailors. He was the one that insisted on bringing them after all. Though she didn't care much for it either. They were just stupid thugs, thinking they could quickly get to infamy by riding on the captain's reputation. Cannon fodder, at best. But if he planned on treating what his actual crew would be that way, he would have another thing coming to him. For instance, since they needed men strong enough to face the grand line, they could easily gang up on him, overpower him, and throw him overboard. And she'd be all too willing to take over the position of captain if that were to happen. But as long as he treated the future crew decently enough everything should be fine. "Can't we just get closer already, captain?!" Ceres yelled over the sound of cannon fire as she approached the middle of the ship. "I could stop quite a few cannon balls with water, and you can just swallow them up and spit them back at them can't you? Or is that demon dog just for tearing flesh apart?" She had no other way to describe...whatever that beast was that came out of Cuttlam's arms. Plus, it definitely looked like some kind of demon. Ceres felt like they were being far too cautious at the moment, considering the several members of his crew could take on a dozen or two normal pirates with ease. And cannon balls were usually rather simple to stop if you had devil fruit powers like her and the captain.
