Takeshi wasn't getting very much out of Shu, and he expected that, but they needed to talk about this. Like it or not the little guy had a very real problem, and avoiding the topic wasn't going to make things any better. Sure, one could hope that with time it would just go away and things would be fine but chances were that wouldn't happen. What should he even be asking his brother about though? Recounting exactly what had been done wasn't going to be easy, and yet maybe that was what had to be done. Even if Takeshi did know the exact details what was he to do with it then? He'd no idea how to use it, nor how to apply anything to it to make the problems go away; Of everyone in their group only Vegeta could help someone, with Yumi perhaps a close second. "I know you hate talking about it buddy, but we need to. You'll feel better if we figure all this out, right? So we should do that, then you don't have to be upset anymore." Giving a sympathetic smile Takeshi stood upright, letting out a sigh as he rubbed at his head and started pacing a bit in the room. If he was going to ask what had happened then he really should be ready to try helping Shu relax, but how? It really wasn't something he wanted to make up as they went along and yet he hadn't a clue what to even start with. "When you have bad dreams what's in them? Are people in your dreams doing the same thing to you? Or... How about this... What about it all scares you the most? Is it them holding you?" He could recall a few instances he'd grabbed Shu only to have the little guy freak out on him, so that right there was a definite giveaway. Now what was it about that which freaked him out so bad? "Of course they did, I wouldn't lie about something like that. I'll be honest, some people were spooked when you did change but that hasn't made any of us like or trust you any less. Things happen, some things we can't control, so we just take them in stride and keep going. None of us fear Shu even though he can change so none of us fear you either." Their opinion on someone one moment could change drastically given a sudden change, but like the change itself those feelings were fleeting. Just as they as friends could be angry with one another, disagree or be annoyed that didn't mean they disliked one another, it just meant there was a small bump in the road. Looking up at T'charrl while he shared his visit with a King, Yumi frowned slightly and shook her head, waving a hand dismissively on the matter. "The way I understand that is this person before you was a monster, I don't think he was saying you're a monster. Look at it this way... All Saiyans can change into some kind of ape, and some are really nasty when they do and others are okay. Thinking you're a monster because someone else was is like clumping everyone together, but we're not doing that and neither should you. What someone was before doesn't define who you are as a person, understand?" Hearing about Takeshi made her burst out into a laugh, hastily covering her mouth to suppress it as she giggled inaudibly behind her palm instead. Now that was funny, she'd never heard about that before. She knew about his... Phobia, but had never really seen it in play too much. "For how tough he always acts he's kind of a softie I think. Sure, maybe he's a little dim sometimes, and he's got a little anger issues but I think his heart is in the right place. He's way better than he was when we met though, and I can tell he does like you, even if he might be a bit scared sometimes."
