Heloise didn't respond to lieutenant Riden-for his name came to her mind from The brief overview she had read about him, other then saying "yes Sir." told him that she understood and had no questions. Right now, she didn't wish to speak unless she had to as she processed the information given to them, what they were suppose to do. She would obey. Because that's what a good soldier did. But any orders she found questionable, she would question them. Especially if it put the others at danger. She didn't particularly care about herself. But she wouldn't have the blood of the squad on her hands for the sack of following orders. Which was, essentially, what the first lieutenant was saying about following his orders. So she had to admire that about him. She turned, heading towards the bunks simply to see if her gear was there. She walked fast, her long stride eating up the ground, as well as hiding her limp. She knew if anyone were able to study her completelt standing still, as well as without her boots on, they would see the slight way she held herself as if favoring one foot. So she tried to prevent anyone from being able to study her like that. She found her gear as it should be. She riffled through it all, and then set it on a bunk. Then she headed to the armory, to claim what she would be using as well as to get outfitted for the mission. She was early, but hadn't wanted to linger with her gear.
