The shower was something he wasn't used to with him being the dorky Peter Parker, but he knew he had to make that a habit! He did his best to hide the pain he was feeling in his shoulders, and after looking at the aftermath of the battle, his shoulders and other small cuts should be fine by tomorrow. Peter had some pajama pants, and just an old t-shirt to wear. His thick and messy hair was still a bit damp, but he knew sitting by the fire with his very close to perfect girlfriend would warm him up. As Lexi went to prepare the hot chocolate, Peter grabbed his backpack and spider-man suit from the bathroom, and made his way down the stairs. He shoved his wet Spidey suit in his backpack, and as he did he could have sworn he heard a high pitched hiss. He He stared at his bag for a second, but then shrugged it off. He was exhausted, it was probably his brain making things up. Now it was his job to attend to the fire! As he put a log in to the fireplace, and tended to make sure the flames didn't get out of hand. He remembered when Lexi and him were kids they would try to start fires, and explosions. Of course Lexi's parents hated the idea, and with Peter's science knowledge, it was bound to happen. Once the fire was at a nice and warm temperature, Peter then pulled his laptop from his bag to do a very quick status update on the city. Kraven was in custody with little resistance, tomorrow was supposed to be colder than before (hooray for crime fighters everywhere...), and a famous celebrity was being accused of being a homewrecker. All the latest on the web... Peter looked up to see a very beautiful woman walk in to the room holding hot chocolate. Peter returned the smile as he closed his laptop, and made his way towards the couch. "Yeah, the handsome man cancelled last minute, asked me to take his place, so that makes me the very lucky man." Peter said jokingly with a shrug. "Its a good thing you are, because I really need a good cuddle or two." Peter sat down next to her, putting an arm on the top of the couch, sitting close to Lexi. He gave a comfortable sigh and looked over at Lexi, starting at every part of her face giving a soft smile. "All we need now is chestnuts roasting on an open fire and we'd be in a real life christmas movie scene." He couldn't stop his jokes, sometimes they just blurted out, especially when he was nervous. Ever since he started dating Lexi he still got nervous. He worried if he was good enough for her, if he could keep all his promises he made, to never hurt her in any way shape or form... He leaned forward to grab both cups of hot coco, handing her one gently, and raising as if to give a toast. "To the beautiful woman with the beautiful house that prevented me from becoming a frozen Spider-Man statue outside on a rooftop." Peter smiled and took a sip of his drink, then learned over next to Lexi and gave her a kiss. "I love you, Lex."
