So, it seemed like he was surrounded by Heathens and monsters. His surrender had not been accepted, he should not have expected even an ounce of grace from the Godless. Then, the lights fell out. A werewolf dashed forward from behind, a motion instantly registered and tracked through method of back-mounted cameras. It was the beast's natural instinct to attack upon the perceived weakness of it's prey. A predator of the night, used to being able to easily outmaneauver it's prey in the darkness. Of course, it had never fought Kami no Kage. Kami no Kage turned, a dagger in his hand already, as he slammed it into the creature's temple. Instantly, the light in it's eyes died, the silver blade hissing against the werewolf's flesh. A second blade was in his hand, pointing the other way to discourage the creature's allies from attacking. Of course, such warnings went unheeded by these foul beasts. A shriek echoed through the air, a feedback loop loud enough to drop the wolves straight to the ground. It took a second even for Kami no Kage to adjust to the sudden burst of sound, but once he did he realized he had all the opening he needed. A quick calculation. It would be easy to finish off the werewolves right now, in their weakened state, and had he been alone with them he would have done so promptly. However, the greater threat was the large number of SOLDIER agents who surrounded him now, who had far more temporarily been weakened. Human ears were still vulnerable, but far less so. And he had no doubt his vampiric opponents would adapt as quickly as he did, even now they were probably moving to strike a blow on him. After all, it was only natural for such an animal to strike at weakened prey. Kami no Kage dashed towards the soldier ranks, one hand outstretched as his sword launched itself into it, the magnetic doing their work once he got within a meter. Those in the front row were already recovering, even after a mere half second, but it was not fast enough. A quick strike separated a man from his lower half. The blade slid through bone like butter, the kevlar offered no resistance to it's diamond edge. Swiftly twirling, Kami no Kage danced his way through the ranks, slashing left and right, guns become almost useless at such short range, his opponent blinded by the darkness. But the worst was yet to come. After all, he was prey now. And wasn't it only natural that beasts follow their fleeing prey? If a few others got in the way, that would be nothing but bonus.....
