Avery was trembling badly after the phone call for even though she was safe it wass only for now. She knew that this might not work next time and she could get really hurt or worst. She hugged herself as she looked at Roland as he bent down to her level and she sat there wanting things to get better for her or just have her life end. "I..I am afien why would I not be fine." She sad while stutering ad trembling more as she held herself not knowing what to do but it was best to not drag him down with her it was to much of a deep dark hole to be trapped in.  SHe ended up buring her face into her kneesand held ehr legs close to her, trying to make her as small as possible and wanting to just disappear. 

Avery kept her face hidden from him as she stayed curled up. "I...I am glad you liked the food at least." She said trying to change the subject or something to save her tail or just something to help her forget the phone cal and forget that one day she will just disappear and no one would notice or care. Avery knew that for a fact which is why she never got close to anyone or tried to make friends for one day if she weer to died from infection, starvation, or worst from one of her dads beating. "But after today its best if you neer talk or go near me again I am not worth the time or the effort I will jsut disappear." SHe said to him while her face was still burried in her knees.
