Why do you insist on the Spidey Avatar?

You seem to be going up the Old Grump route, and I gotta say that the tired 60's Spider-Man meme (which is mainly for 12 year old's) doesn't quite fit what you're going for.

Besides being lame in general.

Unless, of course, you have a dead friend who was really into that meme and you have it as your avatar in his or her memory. In that case I take it all back and I apologize for being so abrasive.
