It's mostly just character development and exploring what it would be like to be a mutant.  I may add in some light action, like anti-mutant groups attacking us one night while they're drunk, or some plot devices, like the Xmen or Brotherhood trying to recruit from our group, or someone from one of those groups joining for actual therapy (you can even play as one of them if you want).
