Jared took a moment of reading through the scenes, briefly, and said, "You know, it's probably a good idea to do act 2 scene 2, and go with that. The mob guy is having second thoughts and guilt and the wife is giving him hell for it. We need to probably come up with Jersey names to go with the Jersey accents, so maybe Mikey B. and his wife is Missus B. Or something of that nature, I don't know." He took a bottle of water from the offerings and sucked that down, somewhat dried out from the day and always eager to hydrate, while he rolled it over in his mind, "But yeah, the whole element of, 'where do we stash the guns?' looks good there, Ms. Andrews might actually appreciate it." He had to stifle a yawn in there; and had to apologize for it. "So yeah, unless you like the first scene better, I say we do that one, because she'll want more out of us and this has a greater range of emotional response." That was his mother's psychology stuff coming through, involuntarily enough, "since the guy's having this massive anxiety issue over being caught now that it's done and the wife is a lot more pragmatic about the whole thing, but also a bit of a bully." Well, she dated Livingston, she could probably work that into it somehow. As to the whole issue of when to work on it, he suggested, perhaps thinking that she'd prefer to have an ironclad excuse, "Perhaps we can work on it at lunch or something, since we both have a lot going on with extracurriculars and other courses. It'd be nice to have a study hall, but this will have to do. I'm sure Ms. Andrews will allow us to read off from the notes, but it might be more impressive if we do without. Since we're rewriting a bit, we can sort of improvise, if that's good with you."
