Probably a bit of both? Despite my love of anime physics for the Lulz, I do like realistic settings and stuff. I'd like something that can be appropriately serious when need to be, but also light-hearted and fun. Obviously, there would be adventuring around, collecting badges if that's your characters thing - though we would need to find some way to organize that so that everyone is able to stay together more or less - unless you have a different idea for that. I think it might work best a smaller group, rather than a large one. Other than that, I haven't thought much on it. Going to do more thinking over my trip, so i'll have more stuff fleshed out by the time I get back, probably. unless my mind finds something else to obsess over for a bit xP
Yeah, definitely-- a mix is probably best, like you said! That keeps it from being so grimdark that it stops being fun, or so light-hearted that nothing particularly significant happens and no one's characters are able to develop. Smaller group sounds great, and we'll have to be careful about people randomly disappearing-- there's nothing worse than someone vanishing on you in the middle of a Pokemon battle. -.- Everyone travelling together also sounds pretty great. Maybe we could have it be a select group of newbie trainers that the professor has chosen to travel together for whatever reason? I always find it kind of sucks when one person ends up really far ahead of or behind the others in a Pokemon RP, because it's hard to catch up again... Other than that, I think we should continue this discussion in the PMs, because we don't want to spam up Fellsing's thread too much XD
