[b]Appearance:[/b] Tall at 5’ 9’’ with an an average build, but at times can look gaunt and sickly if she has been working on something for too long. Often appears disheveled with little regard to her physical appearance.  Robin has long black hair that is almost always tied up (simply because it's easier to handle) with a colored ribbon. Her defining feature are her captivating hazel eyes—usually accompanied with bags and crows feet.

[b]Personality:[/b] Honest and generally chill.  She sometimes throws tactfulness out the window with her bluntness and biting sarcasm, having little patience for formalities and elephants-in-the-room.  Very little gets under her skin, and to the outsider, she seems to be in a continuous state of chill and self paced movement—in reality, she is the type of person to feel explosively about a few things rather than let the trivial details get to her; Is strongly against dark wizards and injustice, but is more tolerant of taboo magic, due to her invested interest in learning all facets of magic.

Hobbies include experimenting and tinkering with the elements of certain spells, runes, and potions.  Her methods could be compared to that of a scientist: hypothesize, test, and iterate. She's anything but risk averse, and often sacrifices her own self care when she dives into a personal project. 

[b]Backstory:[/b] Robin's muggle mother immigrated from the capital of Cambodia to England, where she met and fell in love with her husband, an auror working for the ministry.  She lived in London for 7 years of her life, until they moved to Whitby, North Yorkshire, a small town where her eccentric grandmother of a witch lived. She always looked up to her father, and wanted to follow in his footsteps. When the Second Wizarding War began a couple years later, her father was dispatched to fight the dark forces, and would often send messages home. After a few months, those messages stopped. Robin and her family routinely checked the news, and watched as the headlines got darker and heavier as the months passed.

Robin grew distant and would lock herself in her study or grandma’s library, pouring her time into reading and experimenting with all sorts of magicks. Her mother grew weary and disheartened with time, and hovered incessantly over Robin, discouraging her interest in higher level magic. Her grandmother, on the other hand, didn’t condemn the practice, but actively taught Robin about arcane potion making and ancient runes—it was the next few years of this that she became obsessed with learning new skills; her escape into magic was at first a coping method, fueled by anger and sadness with the disappearance of her father, but eventually became a true passion. She had normal relationships at her muggle school and maintained below average grades at her school with the knowledge she would attend a magical school.

After the ministry is reestablished in a few years, news of her father returns; he is discovered to be alive, but has aged 30 years due to a complex spall cast on him.  The family is overjoyed to see him return after 3 years, but Robin is fueled with anger as she takes note of his old and tired face.  He went into hiding when the Ministry was overthrown and worked closely with Kingsley Shackbolt to rebuild it.  Robin refused the offer to study at a smaller magic school near the area, and now attends Hogwarts, where she is able to be closer to her father.

Other than her bullish determination to work hard and commit, she has surprising people skills—others find her honesty refreshing. She has the natural ability of disarming people in conversation. She's also a natural at systems and innovative thinking and is a staunch autodidact. 

[b]Weaknesses:[/b] Often gets stuck in her head. She struggles with communicating with people constantly and expressing her feelings & thoughts. Because of this she also has difficulty working in a team and maintaining empathetic relations with other people.
