Shu really appreciated Takeshi trying to help him but there wasn’t really anything that was getting sorted, at least not in a sense that it was actually going to help him find a path to getting things fixed. He wasn’t sure how to fix it all himself which is why he kept quiet about it. Sighing lightly in Takeshi’s hold he smiled up at him, just trying to give him a little bit of hope that this was all helping him before he moved away. Even if there wasn’t anything that could be done just now at least he’d know he would be able to say he tried, quite alright to say it was a bit of a waste to give it a try. He was now going to have even more worries about the memories being brought up now that he had revisited them briefly, but he hoped that wouldn’t happen since that would just mean Takeshi’s sleep would be further disturbed along with his. “Okay. Mister Vegeta is very busy, though. I don’t know if he is going to find the time to see me”, he spoke, giving his head a shake, “Might take ages! But it’s not his fault. Mister Viral is very sick, yes? It’s not fair that he gets sick a lot. He did a lot when we were locked away to try and keep things okay, but…he wasn’t around all the time…” T’charrl knew how dangerous he could be if he didn’t watch what he was doing or what was happening to him when he did change, knowing if he was discharging energy he’d burn his friends or if he was careless with his size and weight. He could easily squash one of his friends by accident and that was something he never had to worry about before any of this. He didn’t know what Saiyans turned into other than the very brief experience seeing Shu so it was difficult to tell what the difference was between him and them. His change was completely unnatural and brought on by a mutation when his power mixed with a spirit’s energy, but theirs sounded natural to them, even Viral’s considering he was apparently created. “I’ll try not to”, he smiled at Yumi, feeling a little better as his worries were eased, “I guess one of my worst fears now is getting stuck in a small place and changing there”. He was sure he could try and keep the spirit happy if only he knew how it felt, but there was no way of knowing unless it came to him in a dream and he remembered that particular dream. He wouldn’t mind having the ability to talk to it while conscious. “I hope so. I mean…if I could just give it company instead of it sleeping for so long. It must feel so tired all the time”, he sighed, rubbing his neck, “We worship the spirits all the time. They mostly live in the trees around my area, it’s why I could talk to the tree at home. The spirit wouldn’t had been asleep when the General took it, maybe napping…but it must’ve been awful…” Viral’s stasis may had calmed the rampant energy but his mind was anything but calm, his body only made somewhat stable because of his medicine. While he had healed from the fight the attack had managed to take a pretty bad toll on his body and mind. To say he would be feeling okay after all this was probably going to be a longshot. Vegeta’s silence had been both aiding his sleep and damaging his mind, but it was never going to be Vegeta’s fault. In his unconscious state everything he had to focus on fell to the disruptive dreams that only hoped to cripple his mentality and send him into a downward spiral. They were so much clearer when he was asleep because, unlike Shu, they didn’t treat him like another soul so anaesthetic wasn’t a concern. To test his durability was all part of the process and to break his mind was the only option to get him under their control. Shu’s mind was weak and immature, he was easier to break once they knew how. They had managed to break his mind, but even with all this healing his genes breaking down was just keeping the nail in the glass. The sound of something external was beginning to cut through the torturous imagery and voices, some familiar voices and Vegeta’s as if a discussion out of the interest of something else rather than what was happening in his head. To say it was uncomfortable was an understatement, but it wasn’t as if he was feeling pain already from his dream. As the voices broke through the imagery he slowly opened his eyes, his vision very fuzzy for a few moments before slowly and finally seeing where he was. He was submerged in a tank by the time he realised so it was no wonder that his vision had been a bit odd, but being part shark it wasn’t going to startle him. From what he could see it seemed Vegeta was talking to someone over the communications system. Feeling a slight disorientation to where he actually was he slowly looked around, his paw eventually reaching up to the oxygen mask. He didn’t want to be in this thing, he had spent long enough in here if he was waking up but it certainly wasn’t going to help him anymore to remain inside.
