I agree with Byrd, actually. It doesn't really add to the narrative flow, at least not for me. I just find that it made posting less convenient because I had to make sure that nothing major was happening and that I was posting at the same speed as everyone else. I do think it should be an optional thing, to be used on a player-by-player basis and possibly only be absolutely necessary in major events so that people can add on later.
