It seems like she is afraid and not yet ready to commit to something substantial. It's unfortunate when the person you care(d) about is not at the same stage of life as you are. If she wants to stay in the kiddy pool that's her choice. Just remember that you're a great guy, and know that eventually you'll find someone willing to dive into the deep end with you.
