Peter's heart melted as she looked up at him with a pout. He knew she was just joking but he couldn't resist a puppy dog face from the most beautiful woman in the world. "Believe me, i would give away everything just to be with you all night and day... and as for 'always being right', I'm very far from that, I'm still clueless on many things." He looked over at the cabinet she pointed at and he let her go. "Not a chance, I'm done being on the sidelines! I'll make the oatmeal." Peter gave a smile and grabbed the ingredients. "Luckily for you, and the safety of your kitchen, oatmeal is one of the only things I can make." Peter wasn't that great of a cook, and it kinda showed with him making some mediocre oatmeal, but he was glad he could at least do something for Lexi since she's been making so many meals for the both of them. They ate their breakfast, and Peter kept in mind that number one priority and held Lexi as much as possible... But it soon wasn't long until they both went back to their goofy selves, and decided to play a rather intense game of hide and go seek around Lexi's large house, now that they had their powers. Peter hid on walls and sealed doors shut with his webs, and Lexi had a tendency of sneaking out of the room Peter was hiding... It was break they needed after fighting so many people and going through so much drama, even if it was childish. They finished their homework as well, with it being chemistry it was very easy for Peter to go though it... They spent a bit more time together on the couch before Peter officially had to leave, wanting to fix his suit and buy something warm for under it before the night patrol. Peter made it home, and busted out the sewing machine in his room (yeah, it wasn't the manliest thing ever, but an essential skill to know if you make your own suits). He pulled out the now dryer Spider-Man suit, and spread it out as he walked around looking for other tools needed to fix it. As he did, the black liquid slowly crawled out of the arm sleeve, and slid under Peter's bed. Again Peter didnt realize the black liquid, and went straight to work on the suit. Not too long after it was repaired, and he threw it in the dryer (with other clothes of his from when he spent the night with Lexi). The next thing he did was buy a wet suit from a sporting goods store. He got a lot of weird looks, since he didn't look like a sporty type, but he managed to get out of there with not that many people giggling at him. He didn't care, he knew he was going to be warm now. He was supposed to meet Lexi on their rooftop to start the night patrol, and when he landed, he looked a bit thicker thanks to the suit under his costume. He either looked like a skinny marshmallow, or a bit more muscular thanks to it. "Hey, bought suit, thanks for the money." He said to her as he lifted the bottom of his mask to give her a kiss before pulling it down, and motioning his hands towards the City of New York. "Shall we?"
