The more Flash talked, the angrier she got. He kept going on about how people had a bet about how long Peter and her will last because Peter was bound to run out of money soon enough. Either that or she was getting something better out of the deal, like higher grades or something. Her hands balled into fists as she listened to him talk. Why would he talk like this, and why would people even think of something like this?! They couldn’t just let the two be happy? They were happy and that’s all that people should really care about. The plastic covering opened and she reached in grabbing the hot coco and turned, ready to dump it onto Flash’s head only to see Peter behind him. She felt a bit more at ease seeing Peter there but his reaction was much more then she was expecting. Her eyes widen at his actions and she watched him shove Flash away from her and the large man stumble against the lockers. Even he looked shocked at the situation but he didn’t stick around long enough to follow through with his threat. He most likely wouldn’t do it when Lexi was around. “It wasn’t anything too crazy; I just wish people would let us be.” She said with a nod before looking back at area where Peter had pushed Flash before looking back up at him as he slid his dollar into the machine to get himself a cup of hot coco as well. “It’s nice to see you standing up for yourself Peter but just don’t go overboard with it okay?” She asked softly, her free hand rubbing gently along his bicep with a smile. “Though I do like you standing up for me; my hero.” She said softly leaning up and giving him a gentle kiss on the cheek. “But I hope whatever happened to you last night was good. But not as good as our weekend together,” She said with a playful wink. When he got his coco, she slipped her arm into his. “Ready for History class?”
