[@Pandaa] for the combat, it'll be the same as the 1-3 / 4-6 dice roll, to keep it simple. I had the idea that it wouldn't focus much on combat, really, so I figured just use the same thing haha. Like, if two players fought, the attacker could roll for a strong attack. If he has a strength specialization, he gets a +1. However, the defending player could roll to defend or evade. If he evades with a speed spec, he gets a +1. Or if it's a surprise attack, the attacker could maybe roll for speed as opposed to the defender's perception (logic for that would be to notice the surprise attack early, I guess) If you have ideas, though, they would certainly be welcome! I'll welcome any help since I'm an absolute newbie to this haha.
