So I haven't drawn in years, but I recently got myself an art tablet and have been toiling away at actually producing something pretty. Most of the things I'm interesting in drawing are comic related, though I have a feeling I'll branch out over time. Last night I spent a couple hours recreating the cover art for volume two of American Vampire. It's all imitation artwork, but to start somewhere, right? I only ended up using the 'magic marker' tool from Manga Studio 4, so I'll imagine things will look even better once I start using the brushes and get used to them. What do you guys think?
