At the mention of a knife, Clover's expression remained unchanged but Carter managed a small smile. [b]"It would have been more surprising if you said the crowbar was really the only weapon on you. We know better than to think otherwise."[/b] Carter stepped toward the wreck in the middle of the highway, moving for the closest car. [b]"I'm still surprised you don't have a gun."[/b] Peeking his head in through the blasted windows of a long abandoned vehicle revealed that it was nothing more than an empty dusted shell. Whatever might have been worth looting was now long gone. He figured the rest strewn along the road to be the same. A year into the apocalypse and it was apparent that pickings were becoming slim everywhere. Clover tossed the crowbar directly at Ryan leaving it up to him to catch it before it collided with his chest. She wasn't fond of liars even if she knew they were common. There was no one left to trust in the world now. However their new found friend revealing his knife when he could have continued to lie about it said a lot to her. For now, she was okay with his company but as always, she'd keep her eyes on him. [b]"Anyways, if you really think you'll find something worth taking, you can check these cars while Clover finishes our refuel. After, you're welcome to tag along as we head further East.
