Estelle had been positive the God would just say screw it and sic his pets on her. However, she was rather thankful he didn't. It was rather embarrassing to have to go and retrieve her friends though. They were all gathered in the shadows next to the house anxiously awaiting her return. They all were amazed when she simply walked out the door though it quickly faded to confusion. They crowded around her, wanting to know what happened, where's the book, etc. She sighed and gave them a sheepish smile. "Mr.D and Chiron failed to mention how physically impossible it is to sneak into the home of a God, in which said God has a pack of Hellhounds patrolling through the inside, and steal aforementioned God's belongings." The rest of the group frowned and there was a moment of silence before Julian spoke up. "So what now? Is he going to steal our souls? Enslave us? Feed to his doggies?" Estelle shot him an exasperated look. "That remains to be seen. At the moment he wants us in the kitchen to explain why we want the book." "Like that's going to be easy considering we don't know ourselves." Zane muttered as they filed inside the house and into the kitchen. They blinked in surprise at the refreshments that waited for them and half wondered if the God planned on poisoning them or something. Zane, who was always hungry snagged a cookie while they stared at him in shock. He raised his eyebrows at them as he munched the cookie. Finally they ignored him and focused back on Thanatos. Estelle glanced at the rest of the group, wanting to know if they would like to explain and she quickly noticed how Nathan was the only one standing at her side, Zane and Julian were standing slightly behind them as if using them as a shield. Oh what strong, brave men. Estelle mentally sighed before she turned back to the God before them. "My lord, I would explain if I could but even we do not know what the camp wants with the book. The only thing we were told was that we needed to retrieve it and where it was located." She stated. She shifted slightly as she waited for the God's reply. However, the silence wasn't good because Zane, who despised silence more than anything, took a brave step towards the Hellhound laying at Thanatos's feet. "That's a nice dog you got there, does it do any tricks?" It would have been a fair question if not for the condescending tone that colored the son of Ares's voice. Not for the first time that day, Estelle concluded that he wasn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. She frantically shot him a look that plainly told him to shut up but he ignored her.
