When you say minimalist, what exactly do you mean? Like a solo instrument or what?
Really anything that qualifies as minimalist music. It's music that tends to be kind of spartan on production, lacking vocals, and sort of repetitive in some places. Philip Glass is a notable example, along with Michael Nyman (composed the Gattaca score, one of my favorites), Arvo Part (had a song used in one of the famous trailers for Gravity), and anyone else who is composing original music from the 80s on up that sounds like it could run in the same crowd as classical pieces. I guess what I'm trying to say is that it's a very vaguely defined genre and I'm not 100% on what defines it.
