In the dark of the caves, Cassie couldn't exactly make out the spot Serix had been looking at when he lifted up his shirt, but she knew from how hard Ryan had kicked him that there was sure to be a rather large bruise, if not even a broken rib, from the strike. She felt horrible about it, knowing if she hadn't of come down there that he wouldn't have been hurt like that. Or would he have? Would he have been hurt by Ryan a lot worse if she hadn't come down here to be with him? She guessed she would never know, but when she did know is that she wanted and had to be down here. For the both of them. It was what was best. And so, when he spoke to her, telling her that when some of the others came back again she should ask to be let out, she shook her head, looking over to him, "No. Serix our vows were clear. We're with each other through thick and thin. If the roles were reversed you would do the same thing." Sitting up, she put her hands on the bars of her cell, her eyes trying to meet his gaze, "I'm not leaving you. And you shouldn't blame yourself. For any of this. This is their fault, not yours." Which was true. Serix had done everything right (well aside from getting into a few scuffles) and had been trying to his very best to get the others to see he was no threat. They were the ones causing troubles and getting Serix hurt. mainly Hunter that is. She wanted to throttle that man and if he didn't have a kid she might have honestly wanted to kill him for all he had done. Serix might be killed for goodness sake! Oh, that was something that she didn't want to think about. She turned slightly, her back against the cell bars so that Serix couldn't see the worry that had crossed her face now, "Serix....promise me we'll get out of this? I don't care if its true or not, I just....I need to hear that you and I both will be alright. That we'll be able to get out of this mess, start a family, and get to live at least a partially normal life? Please?"
