Rather than waste more time chattering like old nannies about some prosthetic arm Takeshi wanted to get this favor over with; play time had been interrupted by the siblings showing up and he was still in the mood to goof off, as no doubt Shu was too. Leaving the squad to their debates on girls he directed his brother well clear of that, taking T'charrl and Haku with them. If they knew Sasha like he and Shu did they wouldn't be trying to win her over, but why ruin their fun? Let them go for it, then crash and burn when they found out she wasn't nearly as nice as she came across just now. Someone had to be civil he supposed, especially when your own brother was busy slinging around blind hate towards everyone who was or ever knew a Saiyan. So what should they spend their time doing anyways, far as play went? Takeshi wasn't sure, but he figured now was a good a time as any to grab some snacks. Snacks which, considering half their group, would no doubt subsist entirely of fruits and fruit related foods. Sure enough the mere mention of the word made Shu spring to in delight, the older boy smiling exasperatedly as he glanced over at his brother. "I know you like it... But seriously... You get waaaaay too excited whenever it's brought up," he said, shaking his head with a laugh, "Hey, I guess that's good though, fruit is good for you and all. But it's just going to be a quick snack, got it? Then we're back to playing." Yumi didn't want to say Viral was being overly dramatic with his assessment of himself... But he kind of was. The way he was describing things it was like he was a loose cannon, a bomb just waiting to go off. If what he was saying was true then no way would he be out right now, Vegeta likely would have taken precautions or left him sedated inside of the healing tanks. Of course at this point she could tell that regardless of what her argument was it wouldn't get through to the Beastman, his mind very much stuck on this detrimental, negative spiral. Where she had been impatient and even assertive with T'charrl for this she didn't think it would go as well with her friend now; conditions aside Viral wasn't nearly as receptive to other people as T'charrl, so trying to do that wouldn't work. "Well you have a strong enough mind to be here now, speaking to me clearly, so you've got some willpower then. And maybe it's not even your mind that's got you worried, but your powers? It could be more of instincts driving you than your thoughts, and maybe that's what's making you uncertain?" It was all speculation, but in her eyes it did make some sense. Every time Viral went a little berserk he adopted animalistic qualities, often acting it seemed much more like the creature he was made of than himself. That might be why Vegeta was so bent on getting the Beastman to control his powers then, maybe he too thought the real issue lied in those being out of balance or something. Yumi gave her friend a sympathetic smile as she let out a sigh, folding her hands behind her back as she looked ahead thoughtfully. "I'm not going to attack you if something happens, sorry to disappoint you. I'll restrain you though, and make you remember who you are, but I won't attack you." "These coordinates had best be accurate, I'm not in the mood to be jerked around." Optimistic as Vegeta wanted to be he couldn't help but feel cynical about this whole situation. Viral had suffered for so long, so many failed treatments had been performed, and now all of a sudden they had the location to his best chance of recovery? Part of him was elated at this fact, getting to see his parents again likely had a part in it too, but he also found it hard to accept. While there was no outright reason for deceit he wouldn't be completely confident in the findings until he got an absolute certainty from Sayomi herself, and even then he would have his doubts. Until they actually set foot on Namek, saw it with their own eyes, then he would put his whole faith into it. With members of the crew pouring over documents and records for reference Vegeta had gone ahead and begun establishing a link with the rebel ship, hoping to get in touch with Sayomi to get a full picture of this. "You got us. We came all the way out here, with all of this equipment as part of some elaborate hoax. Glad to know you trust us," Ricken rebutted, frowning as he crossed his arms annoyed. After the incident with Viral had been buried the rebels for the most part were fond of this ragtag group, another thing that somewhat annoyed him. They came and went as they pleased, fought when convenient, and yet they were being hailed, as Korian put it, "an important arm of our effort." Sure he could see the use in a group like this, but to him it felt like they were only in it for themselves, doing things when it benefited them. The only reason they were being sent out here even was to help them, as himself and Sasha could easily have gone off to Namek on their own. Sasha, still bothered by her brother's blatant disregard for their hosts, could only roll her eyes in exasperation. "Ricken, how about you come down from that high you're on and try being civil? Whether we want to be here personally or not doesn't matter, we're doing something for the rebellion and you should be happy for it." Honestly, he was only looking at one fact instead of the overall picture; securing and defending Namek would be a pivotal point in this war, especially if the Dragonballs ever became a target for the Saiyans.
