First thing's first. I'm The Inquisitor. I'm not good at coming up with usernames, and only slightly better at naming my characters. I'm into a lot of things so if you like it, chances are I'm into it as well and we can have a lengthy conversation about it. From Harry Potter to Voltron to The Magic Treehouse. From economics to politics to sociology. You name it, I mess with it. I think you'll find I'm pretty laid-back and easy-going for the most part. Right. Let's get to it then! It's time for need-to-know bits and other important stuff!
1) I'd like interested people to send me a PM instead of posting in this thread. It'll be easier to keep track of things when my inbox has a number shown, I think. So, uh, please don't post in the thread! 2) I have no triggers, in case you're wondering. I would prefer it if you didn't so that I avoid another trigger episode. It's happened before and it is not fun. If you've had the same experience you know what I'm talking about. It makes you feel like shit and, depending on your personality, you might even share some of the blame. Weird, yes. But I've seen it happen. 3) A certain amount of world building is required. I'm big on originality. Any role-play I do with a partner has to have BOTH of us pitching in and building something great. Creativity is the best part of role-playing! We're telling a story here! Thus, if you aren't known for or interested in world building, I'm definitely not the partner for you. 4) I prefer email or forum threads for IC. OOC is good wherever, be it PMs, email, Skype. Whatever tickles your fancy. 5) Communication. Writing is a form of it. I don't think it much to ask for a bit of it from a partner. We have to keep in touch to let each other know we're still alive. 6) More like a 5.5. If you're going to disappear for a while, or need a break, tell me. I'm tired of role-plays I'm involved in dying due to, well . . . who knows?! Because no one TELLS YOU ANYTHING! Lost interest? Tell me. Going on vacation? Tell me. Need to go into hiding because someone put a hit on your life? Tell me. Don't just drop the RP out of nowhere. I'll do the same in return, of course. 7) Ah. The perfect number. One of my favourites. Another 5.5. If you have several RPs going, it would be best to avoid seeking me as a partner. RPs die too much as it is, and I don't want to contribute to anyone's stress threshold due to whatever is going on in their life. Nor do I want them to get into it, then drop it because they have too much on their plate and snapped. This is another thing I've seen happen. Not as bas as triggering someone, but it's still uncomfortable when they flip out. 8) I write at what would be considered a straight casual level. Working on going advanced, but for now I'm holding it down in casual. One or two paragraphs is my usual, with more than 2 coming for those days when my muse is on eleven.

- I've been told I'm one-of-a-kind, eccentric, and just plain weird. I've learned to agree with them, as I see what they mean. I hope you don't mind weirdness. I have plenty of that and then some. Trust me. - As said in my intro, I'm into a lot of things. Chances are I can engage you in a discussion about it even if I'm not personally interested in it. Just take a stab-in-the-dark with a random topic and you'll likely get a hit. This'll help for conversation starters and what not. - I tend to ask a lot of questions. I think it's a quirk. - You might notice I think of my characters as living/real. Hopefully that isn't TMI. I warned you I was weird!
CURRENT MUSES Something sci-fi/cyberpunk. Recently, I've grown fond of cyberpunk and want to give a cyberpunk-themed RP a shot. A dark, gritty city setting with corporations, corruption, machines, wild technology, and alien species all rubbing shoulders, competing for resources in the game of life. This will be a very sandbox-like RP. No set plot other than the one our characters create for themselves. Prepare for much world building (which should come as no surprise if you read the rules and important tidbits).
