Sharon followed his lead flawlessly. Taking each step one at a time and acting beyond the point of casual. He was rather determined to win this romantic date and either she was getting a back rub or he was. Either way she was okay with this. Rising to her feet with a simple shrug she picked up her small purse and put it over her shoulder as if ready to leave. The interaction between Steve and the waitress was humorous but knowing full well she’d give it away, she held back her expression with a rather plain one. It wasn’t until Natasha grabbed the card from Steve’s hand that she grinned the grin she had been holding back for a while. Her full red lips spreading across her face showing her straight white teeth. When he began to lecture their friend about how he was happy where he was and mentioned that she could feel the same way, she nodded as the spy looked in her direction and gave a little shrug saying ‘well it’s true’. Upon the time to exit, Sharon slipped her arm into Steve’s and they started out the door. When he called back to their friend explaining that he owed her a romantic night on the town, she waved good bye without turning around. Natasha would most likely leave them alone and they could enjoy some time together. And dressed up! Steve promised a romantic night on the town and boy, did he deliver! He took them by New York taxi cab to an old fashion but charming restaurant lit with candles and a large glass chandelier. A piano player’s expert fingers played the music that filled the small but cozy restaurant. The couple took a corner booth cuddling until their food arrived and talking. Though she’d need in a kiss every now and then but could you blame her? No, no you couldn’t. The food was amazing but the rest of the night was on foot with a walk through lovely central park. The sun was going down as the two made it into the center of the park and sat down on a bench to watch the sun drop in central park. The peaceful and very romantic night ended with them returning to Stark’s tower, no matter how much she didn’t want to go inside, she knew they had to. She went in first, as to not cause too much talk of them arm and arm and she took the elevator with her red shoes in her hand. Her body leaned against the elevator walls as she felt light as air with the whole night. Getting into her room was easy but as she should have guessed, Natasha had snuck into her room past Tony’s security and was lounging on her love seat. “So, how was the night?” “It was wonderful.” Sharon said, not shy about using the word. “Are you two something serious?” “At this point we’re just going with the flow Natasha and we don’t need couching for it. If something happens than it happens.” Natasha, not being one the one for not having all the information got to her feet as the blonde stripped out of the dress and handed it to her friend. “Did you guys kiss?” “That’s for me to know and you to find out if you do.” Sharon responded heading into her room and pulling on an oversized shirt and a pair of black pajama bottoms. “Does he know who you’re related to?” “Yes, that topic has come up on more than one occasion and while we don’t talk about it, we both know it’s there but… what can we do about it? Nothing. My aunt that we both loved is gone and we must continue forward. That’s what she would want.” “Continue together as a couple.” “Natasha we’re just seeing how this goes, please don’t try to force anything or if anything was possible it could be ruined by it. Just let us work things at our own place. Thank you for opening the door but, we can take it from here.” Natasha stared at her for a moment before a small understanding smile moved across the redhead’s lips. “Fair enough, I’m glad you had a good time. Good night.” With that Natasha left Sharon’s room shutting the door and the blonde let out a long side, her hand moving to her shoulders and her shoulder blades a small push, as much as she adored Black Widow, she was a pain to deal with at times.
