After I did some research, it seemed like the mostly likely jet a/c to be in the area. Also, while it may be 'ballsy' (i.e., not tactically sounds), I didn't want to leave two of the PC's with bugger all to do while we bombed the hell out of ground targets and they politely applauded from the sidelines. Sometimes, reality and tactics have to give way to, y'know. Making the game fun for everyone. And besides, I have faith enough in my players that they'll be able to make a challenging and exciting encounter out of it, with or without my help.
