Tori seemed to have been caught up in this nightmare, for that's what she wished it were. So suddenly everything has happened, all she had wished to do was see what was happening, hear what was happening, and suddenly she was marching to battle. She never expected to be here, to be with the nights guard attacking things that go bump on the night. How was this possible? She ended up with Sister Alyss-she had discovered the night sisters name, not because the woman had told her, but rather in passing as one of her men addressed her. As the woman checked her daggers, Tori suddenly wished she had more then just her magic, staff, and the one small dagger she used for skinning meat. She still wore the cost that Sister Alyss had given her and was grateful for its warmth, even as she shivered. Not from cold, but rather from fear. What was she doing here? Her, a commoners daughter, fighting with the nights watch. When she was barely competent in magic, barely able to hold her own in the Summers Court. Was she foolish? She didn't know. All she knew was that she was here, and that part of her was doing it because she felt like she owed this Sister Alyss, for quite likely saving her life. And she felt like she had a responsibility to do what she could, to aid these brave people. After all, she had her magic, her power. Shouldn't she use it to protect people? Even if she was as green as summer grass? She felt like she should. Even if it scared the crap out of her, and she felt like she just wanted to go home. Even if she was shaking in the warm coat, her worn travel clothes, and her staff, somehow in her hands without her even thinking of grabbing it. She followed Alyss and her men as Alyss tapped on some sort of door way obviously and followed as they went though. As they encountered the beings, the undead beings, and Alyss'a voiced carried to her, despite where she was in the ranks, Tori shuddered. Draugr. Undead beings, little more then rotting corpses with weapons. As they descend on them, Tori find herself pushing to the front of the ranks, besides Red Snow and Soater Alyss, even as she wanted to run away, as fast and as far as she could. She needed to be in front, where she wouldn't risk hurting the men and women of the nights watch. Spells on the tip of her tongue, she threw the coat back slightly and held out her staff in front of her, muttering the spells. Fire formed like a blast, a stream that hit the Draugr. She had a few potions that could help replenish her energy, but she wasn't a fool. She slowed her attack, stopping for a few moments, stepping back to let someone take her spot, ready to step back in front when the Draugr drew near.
