Down the pub and half cut, so probs not the best time to reply, but ima try cus its a good question.

The tech is a steampunk version of WW1, bordering on the dawn of dieselpunk. So infantry are still the warhorse of battle, but mechs, tanks and airships are far more advanced than they would have been. 

Its kinda hard to describe in short, but think late ww1, and mix in some steampunk fantasy, and there we are.
