It's not that he wants to force his characters into isolation. It's just that he's able to produce output at a ridiculous pace. The same could be said about people who drag arse killing character interaction. I tend to agree with Byrd on this one and favour a "flexible reality" in terms of time, where like the Simpsons house it doesn't really make sense under great scrutiny... but most people don't subject it to such anyway. I mean it's like deconstructing superheroes. Go over it close enough and the reason behind how a character's powers are possible will eventually inevitably fall over regardless how detailed a reasoning you create for it to be possible. Every diamond has a flaw.
