Faira glanced over as Adrian addressed Joshua, for once glad as Adriane changed. She gasped, jumping slightly, and turned as Conna’Cel touched her arm, the flames around her sword intensifying unintentionally as the robot spoke. She regarded him for a moment, then glanced quickly back to Joshua. Taking a deep breath, she nodded stiffly. “Alright,” she whispered to him, the flames sluggishly extinguishing, though she kept the sword raised. She looked over as the movement of young Marianne fainted and fell toward the floor caught her attention. Faira stepped as the shadow being caught the child, the girl inhaling sharply as it formed into the older Marianne. [i][u]He[/u] ran away from [u]her[/u]?[/i] She thought, looking from Marianne to Joshua and back again in shock. She flinched, the shadow at her feet twitching toward her, ready to suck her into the shadows as Faira ducked down and looked up as the creaking grew excruciatingly louder above them. “What [i]is[/i] that?” She looked to the collector, her gaze hardening slightly and a slight quiver marring her voice. “What [i]'game'[/i] are you playing at now?”
