As long as his master lives, he really doesn't give a shit. Nidhogg only cares about killing things, rampaging, and eating corpses. So yeah, he'll definitely have the worst relationship with his monster if he tries to be too controlling. Unlike other servants, simply being summoned was enough to grant his wish, which is to get another chance to rampage like he did during Ragnaroc. He cares less about the war, and will only help his master to make his time on earth last longer.
