June's hand with all fingers out and the thumb tapping her chest was enough to calm Mandy. She took a deep breath feeling better knowing her friend was okay. What the other girl was yelling about didn't matter. They could figure that out later. Mandy shook her head, hearing people were so quick to react to situations, they didn't let the whole thing set in before reacting. She watched the boy's gun fall over the edge of the building. She tapped her fist to her forehead. What was that short boy thinking? June had a hold of him, he wouldn't go anywhere. He smashed his foot down, and Mandy raised the gun again, clicking the hammer back. Without June standing between her and him it lowered the likely-hood of hitting her, but still felt like a waste of a bullet since the boy's gun was gone. Really he was just a boy, so small especially compared to June.
