While I waited, I had thought about writing something else in the journal, but forgot what it was. It was probably more exposition of some sort, but I wasn't feeling it, it was hard to focus while I waited. Achieng came out and our eyes met, probably longer than they should. The softness within the topaz ripples worked at something I hadn't expected, like her eyes pushed right into mine. I wasn't sure if I liked it... "Ah, jeh..." I mused with a nod, watching her tank whir off down the hall. The line had thinned down to a few mingling around outside, complaining amongst themselves about 'the glory of technology and its inability to make 'seatbelts' for slipspace. Something to that effect, at least. ~~~ Kaite stepped into the room, remaining silent until Sel had settled and the door had closed. "You've had experience vith slip-sickness?" he asked, trying out a term he was thinking of for what people had. His assumption was based on Sel's rediness to help the crew. It more of a rhetorical question with that in mind, setting the stage for his next question, "Vaht vould be zeh vorst of symptoms zeht you've seen?" If it turned out that memory loss and hallucinations were an occurrence, he'd probably just leave it at that.
