Iris watched him as he poured his coffee down the drain and bid her goodnight, "Good night, Alpha," She said quietly before was began to walk toward the guest room. She was a little surprised to hear that Shadow had been suffering from nightmares although that seemed to be a come thing with the loss of a loved one... She still had nightmares about her parents' death. She was just at the door when she heard Shadow speak. It was soft and had she been human, she probably wouldn't have heard it at all. When he finished, feeling as though she had eavesdropped on a private conversation, she slipped into the guest room. She ran her hand through her damp hair and sighed. Changing into a t-shirt and pajama pants, both that were much to large for her she grabbed a blanket. Pulling it from the bed, she walked out of the guest room and over to Shadow's bedroom door. She was in her head thinking about what it was that she was about to do and couldn't hear him quietly talking to himself on the other side. She rapped quietly on the door before she pushed it open a little. She bit her lip as she stood in the doorway, holding the blanket to her chest, "I... don't know if I'm overstepping but... You're right. My sister... she used to keep the nightmares away and without her..." She took a deep breath, "Would you mind if I slept in here tonight? I can sleep on top of your blankets..." She rose the one that she carried with her up a little, "I brought my own." She cleared her throat, "Of course... I understand that it's absurd for me to even ask but... It seems like you might need someone to ward off the dreams..." she brushed her hair behind her head, "Although, I suppose the both of us could just make dream catchers and avoid this whole thing. I mean... People might find out and say things... things that aren't true and I," She looked at him and for the first moment realized he wasn't wearing a shirt. Her face turned red, making her silently thank the night for hiding her in the darkness, "should probably just go back to the guest room..."

Leopold fell back into his chair and sighed. He wouldn't admit it to her but his insistence that she leave was not only for his people... He looked up at her, "No one can know what you are. Tamed or not, they would kill you and I would have no way of stopping them. If you leave now, it is simple enough to say that you couldn't handle being in the coven... That you were banished for one reason or another. If I were to tell anyone that you lied to me and hid the true nature of who you are... They would kill you... Which is why it is best for everyone that you leave. My people are safe and you keep your life and freedom." He stood once more and walked over to the door, "I suggest that you leave before anyone else finds out and you become prey rather than predator."
