"Yeah... Definitely made the suit..." Peter muttered under his breath. He should have clarified that, it would have made for a much believable story than him just waking up to find it, but he was glad she assumed that for him. Now and again Lexi would like to play with Peter. A game of "Cat and Spider" if you will. Peter grinned behind his mask, and the very faint voice in the back of his head thought this would be a good way to prove its strength. Peter was questioning it mentally, but the thought was gone, and he decided to let it go. "After you." Peter said, letting Lexi get a head start. As soon as Peter took off he felt incredibly different. His senses were much more aware, his swings were faster, he was more daring at swinging low to the grounding and moving out of a car's way at the last second. He ran along sides of skyscrapers, leaping and doing backflips as he caught himself with a web to continue swinging! This felt... spectacular! He felt like a whole new man! And the more embraced this strange new suit, the more power he felt. It took a bit less time to finally track down Lexi who was swinging as normal, and Peter came in to tackle her, but making sure she wasn't hurt as they tumbled on to a rooftop. She was on top of him, and as he stared at his girlfriend the faint voices died out. "You loose again, rookie." Peter said jokingly, about to ask if she wanted to get something to eat before he heard a gunshot not far from them. He looked at Lexi and let her go, giving her a quick nod before they swung in to action.
