Mandy followed along. Signing to June with five fingers crunched up shaking her hand back and forth slightly and then with her thumb tucked against her palm and four fingers straight tapped her chin gently. 

She had no idea what the boy was saying and June didn't seem to be translating for him. The angry girl was easy enough to understand. But June was right they hadnt brought the dead with them. Those had to have been drawn some other way. 

To June she signed: both hands in front flat and then switching between which was higher like scales. Her right hand then went up and it looked as if she tossed something over her shoulder. She connected her forefinger and middle fingers and rubbed them back and forth right hand on top of the left. She repeated the crunched up hand And shrugged.
