Ah...and here, it began once more. Gabriel watched the sorting quietly, only pausing to let a small, unseeable half-smirk half-smile form on his face at Anastasia's words...foolishness. It was right in every category. The consecutive amount of scenes that had just transpired was very, very stupid, overreacting, and childish, and honestly, Gabriel was surprised that it wasn't stopped by the Headmaster himself. Scarves catching on fire, while from an outside point of view, wasn't very dangerous...but imagine if someone tried to put it out, or if the scarves' fire caught onto the person's clothing. Someone getting melted alive by magical flames wouldn't have been too surprising, considering the intensity. Still...Gabriel glanced up, eyes narrowing slightly at the Gryffindors. He wouldn't go as far as to say that he hated them...but he really, really lacked respect for the majority of them. He just didn't like loud, obnoxious people, and that cheer, and the way they seemed to put attention on them, made his lack of respect for them go down a bit farther. As another student was called up, Gabriel returned to his book, golden eyes absorbing the text. He already had the potion ready, and everything was in order. It would take a while, but..."Anastasia..." He said quietly, eyes staring into hers from over the top of his book's edge. "What do you know of the 'Animagus'?" A minor flick of his hand from under the table, and a small illusion was placed over the people around them. Nothing harmful...it would just make his voice too quiet to hear, except for Anastasia.
