Black Cat jumped off the roof and began to swing away. It had become one of their games, and a good excuse to test their speed along with their reaction time. Black Cat loved the feeling of flying through the air and doing spins and flips as she swung herself through the buildings. What she didn’t expect was for Spider-Man to catch up with her sooner than he normally did. She wasn’t expecting the grab from mid-air as they went tumbling across the rooftop. Between that shock and the black suit, she was almost certain she was caught by someone other than Spider-Man. But she found herself on top of him sooner than she had expected. “How did you…” She cut off by the sound of gunfire which pulled both of them to their feet and off into action. She’d have to ask him about it later but that seemed quicker than before and she wasn’t going slower. Huh… she mentally shrugged to herself as they landed on the rooftop near the scene. Men were inside of a grocery store holding it up, the police had not arrived yet which means they probably had just gotten in. “That’s an intense way to grocery shop.” Black Cat said with a chuckle. “I’ll get the hostages, I look forward to hearing your grocery puns.” She said with a chuckle lifting up the mask and blowing him a kiss before walking backwards off of the building. “I love you and I’ll see you inside.” With that she fell backwards and went around the building to the back. It didn’t talk long for Black Cat to get inside. The robbers had already cut the power so no alarm system went off. Sneaking silently through the back, she grabbed a piece of cloak from the janitor’s closet and began to mark the path which she wanted the hostages to take to escape. She traced it from the exit door she had propped open slightly to where she walked. Once into the store area, she was able to keep the door open and left the cloak hidden in the back of the store room. She then began to work her way silently through the store, collecting the hidden hostages and getting them out before she went of the group that the men had already found. All the while she was listening for three things; the location of the robbers, the sound of police cars and the witty remarks from her boyfriend she loved so much.
