The sun dawns on February 15th, ushering in yet another day of learning, growth, and discovery.

Bruce Wayne sits in his office, doing background checks on new student applications when the Martian Manhunter enters his office. Bruce sets down the papers he had been reading, and says, "Good morning J'onn. Shouldn't you be preparing for today's simulations?"

J'onn J'onzz nods and replies, "I will in a few minutes. Before I do, I wanted to tell you something that you may find troubling."

Bruce leans back in his chair and closes his eyes, "Go on."

"Last night, Phoebe never showed up to the dance although her teachers seem to have assumed she and Ryan Allen. Once I was told this, I took the liberty of viewing the security footage from the various hidden cameras we have around campus, and I wanted to show you one clip. If you don't mind, I'll pull it up on your computer."

Bruce uses the retina scanner to unlock his computer, then turns the monitor toward J'onn and slides the keyboard to him. Soon, a dim video begins to play showing a girl that appears to be Phoebe running away from Academy property in the company of another woman.

Bruce sighs, "Thank you J'onn." After being given this silent dismissal, MM leaves to go about his business. Once alone, Bruce slams his fist on his desk and growls, "Damnit."
