I'm interested. Don't want to say sure I can commit because this is my first post in a while after I just stopped, but I'll definitely stick around for as long as I can!
No worries, I know how you feel! If I can help, let me know.
I'd be interested, depending on plot specifics. Something like Die Hard in a high school.
Kind of... and kind of not... I suppose in the sense of a 'siege', possibly, but we would instead be on the inside, trying to stay inside. Okay, Die Hard not so much, I'm more thinking Assault on Precinct 13. But the school part is definitely right.
This looks really interesting. Would this be a boarding school?
I was undecided between a normal school or boarding school, but I figured it would be much more hassle for the characters to adapt to life within school walls if they were never designed to be lived in 24/7. In a boarding school, you already have your dorms and such.
Question: will the students have some kind of powers or will they just be normal students stuck in some sort of war? Anyway, you have my interest.
Just normal ol' students stuck in a war. However, leading on from my reply to Travesty's question, I had an idea about the plot. An unexplained eclipse occurs (unusual because these things can be tracked hundreds of years in advance, they don't just happen) which results in total darkness for a period of time. When it lifts, something feels off about everything. You can't pin your finger on it. Shadows evade your sight, and some people are plagued with nightmares of untold horror. Eventually, the enemies which flood against your school are an abhorrence. Half soldier, half indescribable creature who are pure evil to their very core. They seek nothing but your spilled blood. There's a rough idea that I thought up earlier today. If you don't like the supernatural aspect though, I am still happy with the soldier-siege. I didn't know if anyone would prefer if there was some mysticism thrown into the mix. Despite the way things seem though, no-one gets any powers, besides from the nightmares which are part scare-tactics and part prophecy sent from the enemies. Let me know what you guys think.
