The Frost Demon was being terribly vague with all of this, eluding to some situation that he wasn't giving any detail on whatsoever. Were Sasha not trying to help him right now she'd probably be impatient and demand he be straightforward, but the questions could wait for a bit. Tossing away a scrap of the ruined armor she gave the Frost Demon a funny look, letting out a sigh as she shook her head and placed a hand on her hip. "Now why wouldn't we let you go? Sure, we'll want answers about what's going on, but after that we don't mind what you do. Stay if you want, or go off on your own, it doesn't bother us much." They weren't the police and they certainly weren't going to start turning into bounty hunters, chasing after questionable people. The way that the boy behaved Sasha was certain he was hiding something, and with a bit of questioning later she may be able to coax an answer out of him. Managing to cut all the way down the middle of the armor she grabbed both ends, parting it easily and sliding the now split armor off of the alien, placing it all in a pile. "So what if you're a Frost Demon? I have allies who are Saiyans, and everyone thinks they're the absolute worst in the galaxy. Just because some people are terrible doesn't mean everyone is," Sasha said, smiling as she set the scissors in the box and grabbed a vial of healing gel and some bandages. "Maybe you'll tell me this much," she continued, opening the vial and grabbing the alien's arm, beginning to apply some of the gel onto his wounds, "What's your name?" So blasting this thing wasn't really going to work, at least not in of itself. Damn shame too, that was more or less Takeshi's go to mode of attack. If they couldn't blast away then they'd have to hit it head on, and somehow he doubted punching a monster this size was going to do all that much. They were making progress hacking away the limbs though, at this rate they might even manage to get them all. "Uh... Ki slices...? Like the sword?" he asked, looking back at Shu puzzled before frowning. Damn, he had no idea how Ricken was doing that, and he didn't have his sword on him either! He hadn't brought it since Vegeta had argued it could give the wrong message, but damn if he didn't wish he had it now. "Eh, we don't need that! What we were doing will work fine, just keep blowing its arms apart!" With Ki gathering in his palm Takeshi flew back down at the creature, reaching out and releasing a volley of blasts as he and Shu swept across the side and back of the monster. With his more erratic attack style he wasn't near as accurate, but a few limbs were struck and fell to the ground with a satisfying thud. Heh, this was actually getting to be sort of fun. Haku wasn't quite sure how, but they were actually doing this. The monster was struggling to keep track of everything attacking it so all they had to deal with was the tendrils, and they were easy enough to kill off. Sure, everyone was on high alert and one single misstep could see you getting cut in two, but thus far things were going well for them. He had even managed to land a few good shots, claiming four or five disembodied limbs now to his name. Having Viral by his side was actually proving to be a bit of a reassurance too, what with the Beastman's impressive power; even in his poor condition Viral managed to tear a limb clean off, something none of them could probably do. Watching astonished as he hit the creature with its own severed limb he prepared another blast, freezing when the tendrils suddenly stopped flailing about and curled up against the body of the beast, then the frills of the monster closed around its head, leaving it sitting there like a gruesome flower waiting to bloom. Staring up at it baffled Haku nearly thought they had managed to win when the frills abruptly parted, another loud, piercing shriek echoing around the area as thick spews of slabber flew from the creatures mouth, its tendrils seeming to retract into its body. Then, alarmingly, the creature sank down some, now its head and main limbs all that was visible, as well as a slight portion of its body. Something seemed different too, it looked like it was trying to pick a target. "Oh crap..." Vegeta's sentiments exactly, as a second later the monster took a big swing at him, its talons slicing through the air in his direction. Eyes widening in shock he extended his arms to try and catch the hit, doing so but being pushed back quite a lot in the process. Grunting with effort he used his Ki to slow his movement, grunting as he finally made the creature come to a standstill again. Then, from above he could feel the rush of air, instinctively diving away as the other claw came down on top of where he was, slamming into the ground and kicking up a cloud of dust. Looking up at the monster warily he frowned, wondering what in the world caused it to change the way it was fighting. Had it learned that quickly not to attack as it was? "Be on your guard everyone, something's changed!" To no doubt everyone' shock the monster turned its head towards Ricken, its eyes flashing before it opened its maw, a quick, wide ray of dark energy spewing out in a blast at him. Thankfully the rebel managed to dodge it, and the attack hit a small cliff some dozen meters away, smashing into it and blowing it to pieces as chunks of stone rained down around the area. So it could use energy now? And it hit very hard, things had just become much more dangerous. "Seriously... What the hell are we even fighting...?" Yumi mumbled, shaking her head in disbelief at their situation. They had never seen something like this before, not in all of their travels together as a group. Was it something native to Namek? She doubted it, no way this thing could be native anywhere, it had to be another one of those strange creatures. Now with it suddenly taking on a whole new way of battle too she almost dared to think it might be intelligent, at least enough to figure out a better way to fight them. Something this strong, this large, this quick to think, she really wasn't thrilled with the prospect of fighting anymore. In just two attacks it had come perilously close to taking down both Vegeta and Ricken too, what else was it going to do? "Well... It's less for us to have to kill now, so that's good," Yumi said, smiling nervously as she poised for battle, "I guess we'll go the simple route and hit it until it stops moving? Sound like a plan everyone?"
