Kalinda at once could feel Tori's panic. The effect had been immediate on her, and Kalinda gritted her teeth as she Tori began to panic, her fear only mounting. Kalinda hissed out through her clenched teeth. "it's okay, Tor. I'm here" she managed to breath out, trying to reassure Tori, but for all that Tori was, she was still a little girl. And fear was, often stronger, then any other emotion. It made Kalinda mad, even as she knew that she was being irrational, she had, after all, asked Allen to help. She pushed back her own fear, her need to protect Tori greater then anything else. "Tori!" she put every ounce of strength into her voice that she could, swallowing, trying to keep the fear out of her own voice, to sound brave and unconcerned. She felt Tori shudder in her grip, but she maintained her weapon form, but Kalinda knew she couldn't fight. "okay, okay, okay. Stop. She needs a break"
